Death is generally not something that we favor. Anticipating the passing of somebody we love and thinking about our own death and funeral is difficult. But, it is important to know that realities about funerals so that we understand before we have to.
Our funeral home staff offers educational programs in all funeral aspects…vaults and caskets, scattering of ashes, embalming, funeral etiquette, anticipatory grief, daily coping skills, funeral planning and monument design… to any age or civic group. We also offer listening and supportive groups at various times of the year. We teach and guide with sensitivity, compassion, experience and truth. And nothing less. Call or email us to find out more.
FosterFriends
FosterFriends, founded by Scott and Holly Underwood, is a means to finance special needs for foster children when monies are minimal or not available. The foster care program, through the Union County Department of Human Services, adheres to guidelines in financing items needed for children's' critical and basic needs. 
Often, when a child is placed suddenly in a foster home, immediate purchases are necessary such as diapers, baby bottles and formula, a car seat, pajamas, shoes, a toothbrush and perhaps, a crib.
FosterFriends especially serves foster children by financially supporting their social-developmental needs. Most times, no funds are available to encourage these much-needed growth and recreational activities. Assistance is given through our agency to fund extra-curricular activities, hobbies, athletic leagues and sports programs, boys' and girls' civic clubs and specials school and church projects.
